A packed house in the Rahway Rec Center brought noise and enthusiasm as WrestlePro brought WrestlePro X last night for its Tenth Anniversary Show. It was a night to remember.
Here are the results from last night’s event:
Brian Myers defeated TJ Crawford in the opening contest. Crawford brought the A-Game, but one Roster Cut lariat by Myers sealed a victory for the System.
Tommy Invincible won the 8-Way Scramble, defeating Max St. Giovanni, Yoscifer El, Nikos Rikos, Fallah Bahh, Tony Vincita, J Heru and Steve Gibki. MSG actually had the match won, but following a lackadaisical cover, Invincible took full advantage and surprised “Moonsault” for the win.
Justin Corino shocked the world and submitted Garden State Champion El Magnifico with a crossface to win the belt. Before Magnifico could even make it to the arena, J-Heru, former Garden State titleholder, attacked the masked man with a steel chair backstage. Corino took full advantage to win the gold.
In a fun tag team contest, Scotty 2 Hotty & Keagan Garland defeated The Revolver’s Chamber of Alex Reiman and Brandon Downey. The Chamber fell victim to a pair of Worms for a loss.
In a #1 contender’s match for the WrestlePro Women’s Championship, Lady Frost defeated Ava Everett in a hard-hitting match.
In a “Winner Takes All”, ACW Tag Team Champions The Now defeated WrestlePro Tag Team Champions Sent 2 Slaughter of Dan Maff and Shaun Donavan. The Now retained the ACW belts and WON the WrestlePro Tag gold in enemy territory.
The Gates of Agony defeated the Ace of Space Academy of GKM and Shotgun Thursday Night Champion Colton Charles. After the match, a full breakdown of the Academy took place, with MSG being forced out of the ring by his brother LSG, and GKM & Charles left their leader alone in the ring. It looks as if the Ace of Space Academy has officially been disbanded.
In a battle of WrestlePro legends and of the Acclaimed, Anthony Bowens defeated Max Caster. After the match, both men did their Scissor Pose and embraced in the ring.
Ricochet defeated Soleil, the artist once known as Sidney Akeem, in a high-flying spectacle.
In the main event, LSG defeated WrestlePro Gold Champion CPA and Vargas to win the championship. This is LSG’s first reign as Gold Champion.
Almost immediately following the match, WrestlePro owner and tri-state legend Pat Buck made his way to the ring. Buck went to congratulate the participants and then began to thank the WrestlePro fans, but was cut off by the man driving a Corvette around Rahway - AEW World Champion MJF!
Following MJF saying kind words about Buck, the AEW World Champion kicked the WrestlePro owner low and demanded a one-on-one match with him. We later found out that this match will take place on May 31, 2026 at the Rahway Rec Center for Better Than You!
Another legendary night at the Rahway Rec Center, New Jersey’s premier independent wrestling centerpiece. May 31 will be electric.
