DRAGON BANE & ALEJANDRO LOSE THE GHC JR HEAVYWEIGHT TAG TEAM TITLES TO TEAM 2000 X ON 10/4

For 210 days, I bestowed the virtue of Dragon Bane and Alejandro being one of the greatest junior heavyweight tag teams I have ever seen.

After winning the NOAH Jr. Tag League on March 1, 2026 over their respective brothers Alpha Wolf and Kai Fujimura, they cashed in and defeated Daga & Daiki Odashima to become GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions a week later.

Five solid successful title defenses later, Bane and Alejandro walked into Yoyogi National Gymnasium #2 in Tokyo to defend their belts against the extremely talented, yet anti-establishment TEAM 2000 X of YO-HEY and Jun Masaoka.

TEAM 2000 X have been running roughshod over Pro Wrestling NOAH over the past year, Their rudo ways have rubbed everyone the wrong way, and now, to consume more power, they want all the championships.

On October 4, 2026, they achieved a portion of that goal.

Thanks to interference from Tadasuke with a steel chair and current GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion Fujimura, Masaoka took control and won the titles!

With the NOAH Jr. Grand Prix 2 coming up in November, there will be no doubt the former champs will be looking for revenge in the singles ranks, but what a run for Alejandro, the feisty underdog, and Bane, the master of speed and the handspring.

In some way, I hope the duo get revenge on the rebellious TEAM 2000 X. Their power is growing at a rapid rate. And regardless, Dragon Bane and Alejandro are the frontrunners of being Hardway HQ’s Tag Team of the Year. They’ve been that good.
