EL SRIRACHA KID "UNMASKS" LAST NIGHT ON AMW SHOWDOWN
El Sriracha Kid pulled an absolute fast one last night on the latest edition of Appalachian Mountain Wrestling Showdown.
A cult favorite here on Hardway HQ, we tuned to watch the Hair vs Mask match between El Sriracha Kid and Evil Eric Porter. If the “Appalachian Monster” won, Sriracha would have to unmask. However, if the masked Luchadore from Monterrey, Mexico picked up the duke, the long locks of Porter would be cut completely off.
Throughout the full battle, which was a solid back-and-forth encounter, Porter was trying to cheat throughout. Finally, once Sriracha went for a belly-to-back suplex, Evil Eric went into his pants pocket, pulled out a duster, and walloped the masked man in the head. Three counts of the mat later, and Porter picked up the devious win.
As per the rules, El Sriracha Kid’s identity was going to be exposed. He dropped to his knees and began the heartbreaking process of preparing to show his face to the world.
He technically did.
The mask came off, but Sriracha pulled a fast one. He had a SECOND MASK underneath!
Stunned, Porter tried to get an attack off, but Sriracha used his speed, nailed a leg lariat, and escaped all the way to the locker room.
Trying to find El Sriracha Kid’s identity will be on the forefront of many AMW talent’s minds, especially Eric Porter. I personally hope the mystique remains. There is something charming about Sriracha that I hope remains in AMW. Makes me want to tune in each week on YouTube.
