The Full Blooded Italians Are Coming to MPW
I have been a giant Little Guido Maritato fan since 1998.
An inaugural member of the Full Blooded Italians in Extreme Championship Wrestling, the former two-time ECW World Tag Team Champion has accumulated a wealth of fantastic people to team during his long pro wrestling career.
From “Ol’ Brown Eyes” JT Smith, Tracy Smothers, Tommy Rich, and Tony Mamaluke in ECW to Chuck Palumbo and Johnny Stamboli in WWE, Maritato has been built tough and developed strong in the world of tag team wrestling.
This Sunday in Matt Pro Wrestling for New Dawn 2024 at the Lakewood Estonian House in Lakewood, NJ, the next generation of the FBI begins, as Guido and Ray Jaz enter a three-way gut check.
Ray Jaz is a wrestling prodigy. Trained in the pro wrestling industry by Damian Adams, the former amateur wrestling standout has been built as a future star in the business.
Joining Guido in the FBI recently for Total Nonstop Action, the knowledge gained from Ray Jaz has helped immensely. Guido, who was trained in shoot wrestling by the legendary Billy Robinson, has always been considered a phenomenal teacher. He has even trained MPW Promoter Ray Ray Marz, who says nothing but wonderful things about Maritato.
The duo has a tough task ahead in an old school Three Way Dance against South Philly’s Finest and the team of Playboy Paulie & Brother Falco this Sunday. If there was any test that Jaz and Maritato could have early on in their partnership, this match would be it.
Can the FBI make their competition “sleep with the fishes” at New Dawn 2024? Or will an upset be had?
Needless to say, I have to be careful with my words, or, as the FBI used to say in ECW, I’ll have to “Shut Up-a My Face”.
