SENT 2 SLAUGHTER PREPARING FOR WAR WITH LOTHBROK & DR. SLEEP

At Hero’s Celebration on March 29 for American Championship Entertainment, a shock was jolted into ACE’s system.
Seemingly turning the clock back to 2010, ACE Owner Mike Morgan and NEW ACE Tag Team Champions Dan Maff & Shawn Donovan - SENT 2 SLAUGHTER - hit the ring after “Dr. Sleep” Anthony Gangone pinned Kaide Lothbrok to win the vacant ACE Heavyweight Championship and absolutely laid waste to both men.
While Darius Carter, who was the third man in the vacant title match, stood on the outside of the ring dumbfounded and confused, Maff, Donovan, and Morgan brutalized Lothbrok and Gangone unmercifully. Steel chairs, championship belts, and anything not nailed down was used on both men.
Mr. Morgan then grabbed the microphone and announced that THE ACES were back!
Fifteen years ago, Mike Morgan formed the ACES with the plan of taking over the wrestling industry, hiring then-Heavyweight Champion Maff as “the ACE of Spades”, Rob Vegas as “the ACE of Diamonds”, William Wyeth as “the ACE of Clubs”, and Tom Scanlon as “the ACE of Hearts”.
After a few years, the ACES dominated and then quietly disbanded as the promotion began establishing themselves in Wallington at the Morgan Jr Arena.
However, with Maff and Morgan reunited, and the grizzled Donovan joining the fold, all sorts of wild cards have been thrown into the air. ACE hasn’t been under this much unexpected disarray in quite some time.
Now, ACE management has announced that at its next event Aftermath on May 24 in Teaneck, NJ, Maff and Donovan will be teaming up against the new ACE Heavyweight Champion Gangone and ACE Triple Crown winner Lothbrok in the main event.
The other day via ACE’s Instagram, Maff and Donovan released a statement that must be heard:
On the flip side, the team of “Dr. Sleep” and Lothbrok is anything but stable. Both men, throughout the entire independent circuit, have had their ups-and-downs. Lothbrok has had a major issue trusting people in various groups and tandems. Hell, there is obvious dissension just knowing that Gangone pinned Lothbrok to win the ACE Heavyweight Champions just weeks ago!
At press time, we are unsure if the ACE Tag Team Championships of Sent 2 Slaughter will be on the line. Regardless, will Anthony Gangone and Kaide Lothbrok find a way to use an uneasy alliance to victory? Or will the reformation of the ACES mean a new era of pain and destruction in ACE?
