SEAN HENDERSON GOING FOR "HIGH STAKES" AGAINST MASATO TANAKA TOMORROW NIGHT

I need to preface this by saying that I genuinely am a fan of Sean Henderson.
The first graduate of the H2O Wrestling Academy under Matt Tremont, Henderson over the years has demonstrated that he is such a genuinely nice guy. He is legitimately one of the good ones.
He also is one of the toughest junior heavyweights I’ve ever seen. He very well might be the modern-day Spike Dudley. He can take a beating like no other and keep on ticking.
That is why when I saw that Sean Henderson Presents was going to be running tomorrow night in Las Vegas during the peak of WrestleMania Week, I had to see who he’d be facing.
And then…I had a feeling of dread.
Sean Henderson might actually be in for the war of his life.
At High Stakes inside The Nerd on 450 Fremont St #250 in Las Vegas, Sean Henderson goes one-on-one with Japanese Hardcore Wrestling legend MASATO TANAKA!
Masato Tanaka is truly one of the greatest underground wrestlers of all time. He was an accomplished star in Atsushi Onita’s FMW, holding every championship the promotion ever had. Tanaka did multiple tours of ECW in the late 1990s and won both the ECW World Heavyweight Championship in December 1999, but had two reigns as ECW World Tag Team Champion with Balls Mahoney and Tommy Dreamer as partners. He then held championships as an independent across a plethora of Japanese wrestling promotions, and even now, is in the middle of his second reign as GHC Hardcore Openweight Champion in Pro Wrestling NOAH.
There have been moments where I truly thought Tanaka was invincible. At the bare minimum, Tanaka seemed impervious to pain. Some of the chair shots given to his cranium over the years looked inhumane, and he just got right back up.
Also, Tanaka has the best Roaring Elbow in the business. Bar none. No one else could do that justice.
For Sean Henderson, he is going to need to channel that type of demeanor. All he needs to do is just keep getting back up. No matter the pain, the beating, or the abuse, he just has to get back up to his feet. If he sticks to that strategy, Henderson will have a chance.
The only way to see this show is to go LIVE to The Nerd. This match will be worth the price of admission.
I truly hope that on the promotion that has his namesake, Sean Henderson Presents the upset of the year.
