What a wild night at the Meadowlands YMCA in East Rutherford, NJ for Pro Wrestling Magic as they held St. Anger!
This was a jam-packed night with a lot of new talent getting opportunities to shine. So let’s get to the results.

After coming back from the “Astral Plane” following his Heavyweight Title retention and claiming of the Dark Arts Championship, the “Good Guy” Azrieal successfully defended both titles against El Pacto Diabolico’s Justin Vayne under Dark Arts rules. The pesky Vayne jumped Az before the bell, but the New Jersey independent legend took firm control shortly thereafter. After a few moments of good solid destruction, Az, still adjusting following the other worldly battle, lost some energy, putting the challenger in control. The face-painted sneak even delivered an impeccable Shining Wizard for a near fall. However, through gritted teeth, the “Good Guy” delivered a Demon Driver out of desperation for the victory. (On a complete side note, Magic play-by-play commentator Philly Jawn Williams, who was also in the “Astral Realm”, found himself figuratively thrown back into our current dimension and headed immediately towards the Commentation Station.)
In a match to determine the Junior Heavyweight Fastpass, the Hunter of S.A.D. faced off with local standout Joe Mancini. Mancini fought valiantly underneath against the Hunter, but S.A.D. was just too much to overcome, as the Hunter picked up the victory and has a guaranteed shot at the Junior Heavyweight Championship.
In a match that was a total styles clash, Al Dinero choked out the ever game ABBS. The “Not Fake” genetic freak fought valiantly, including an excellent Abslam, but Dinero was too much to overcome. A star was made in Al Dinero tonight.
The reprehensible Vincent Michaels, fresh off his destruction of his Leather Jacket Mafia partner Franco Constanzo back at One in April, began disparaging the Magic Kingdom. Suddenly, the dancing and fun-loving Ricky Harway made his way out, wanting to make an impact. Michaels, as is his nature, attacked him during his introduction. Harway (love the name, by the way) had the fans in his back pocket, but following two Stomps, which was taught to him at the Black and Brave Academy, the big mouthed “Sun of Wrestling” picked up the duke.
A unique battle was next, as “the Cotton Candy Princess” Tiffany Avatar defended both her OWR Platinum AND the Matt Pro Wrestling Women’s Championship against the very game Brianna Bandz. It was a great back-and-forth contest between both women with strikes all across the board. Bandz even leveled Avatar with a vicious superkick. However, the silver streaks of Bandz got Candy Crushed by the dominant Avatar and picked up the victory in a successful defense of both titles. “The Cotton Candy Princess” represented the Outkast Wrestling Revolution and Matt Pro Wrestling excellently.
The Tag Team Fastpass Gauntlet was next. The best of the best brought it all out for the right to earn a guaranteed shot at the PWM Tag Team Championships. Here are the results:
- High Fashion brought high energy, but was outright dominated by the two-time former PWM Tag Team Champions the Rep.
- The odd couple of Trey Felipe and “the Mayor of Scumbag City” John Tella came out next, and the heavy hitting was brought to another level. Following the preverbial house of fire from Tella, Felipe nailed his Freshest Cutter Ever and eliminated Nate Wallace and Dave McCall.
- The long awaited tag team debut of Wade Krueger and Radley Belmont was next. The Stepdads took it old school against the “Freshlete” and Tella, but the duo kept on the attack. THEN, El Pacto Diabolico, led by turncoat Ray Ray Marz and with new member Al Dinero, dragged Felipe away from ringside. Tella followed suit, and the Stepdads won by countout!
- The Sons of Old School were next, and Belmont & Krueger bailed. Dan Murdoch, fresh off his big win against Jay Lethal last month, and Steve Off NEEDED a tag team win badly. After surviving the antics of the Stepdads, Murdoch and Off hit a lariat/Russian Legsweep combination for the pinfall on Belmont.
- In a surprise, the Hunter led his Stressed and Depressed members out to the ring as the final team. Following a somersault plancha to the floor by Murdoch, S.A.D. took quick control of “the Outlaw”. Following a miscue, Off made his way back in and leveled some heavy offense. However, it was Murdoch’s All American Knockout that got the three. THE SONS OF OLD SCHOOL WERE NOW THE NUMBER ONE CONTENDERS!
However, the fun was short-lived. El Pacto Diabolico made their impact yet again. As Steve was being held, Murdoch took an extremely stiff shot to the midsection with a steel chair. Felipe and Tella made the save shortly thereafter, but it was too late. Word has gotten back that Murdoch has suffered a serious injury to his ribs and was taken to a local medical facility. We will have word on his injury as soon as we get it.
In the main event for the PWM Women’s Championship, titleholder Tiphani Grady, representing EPD, put her gold on the line against Pro Wrestling Magic legend and two-time former Women’s Champion Rebecca Scott. Scott held the early going with the natural talent and ability, but Grady took over quickly with her viciousness. Scott had a lot to handle, but came back furious with some of the most vicious strikes I’ve seen in quite some time. However, the tail-end came down to a “can you top this” style of high impact moves. Scott went for her armbar, but Johnny Vega took a shot off the apron to save Grady. Grady then delivered a Gory Bomb for the three count to the disdain of the Magic Kingdom. EPD then circled Scott like a pack of wolves, but Felipe and Tella made the save. Then, “poor” Vayne was made the sacrificial lamb, taking all three of his enemies’ finishers.
Pro Wrestling Magic returns to the Magic Kingdom on June 20, 2026 at the Meadowlands YMCA with Hardwired.
