JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT FASTPASS IMPLICATIONS AT PWM ST. ANGER 5/16

As you know, I am a huge fan of junior heavyweight wrestling.
Pro Wrestling Magic has really dedicated itself to that weight class with the Junior Heavyweight Champion. A plethora of great talent have held that title, including Sebastian Cage, Donovan, Trey Felipe, Azrieal, and current champion Eden.
Now, at St. Anger on May 16 at the Meadowlands YMCA in East Rutherford, NJ, the Magic Kingdom has a Fastpass ready for one of two men.
The Hunter of S.A.D. faces Joe Mancini and the winner has a guaranteed opportunity at the PWM Junior Heavyweight Championship.
At one time, the Hunter was a beloved, happy professional wrestler. A former BWO and LWO Heavyweight Champion, he really had the Northeast independent wrestling fans in the palm of his hand. Now, he is downtrodden, miserable, and angry. With this opportunity now for a guaranteed chance at the PWM Junior Heavyweight Championship, this might finally make the Hunter the predator. Not seen since losing to Dan Murdoch at Kingdom Come X in December 2025, winning this would finally get the Hunter back to where he needs to be.
Joe Mancini, on the other hand, is a virtual blank canvas. Training at both the Worldwide Dojo under the great Preacher Finneus James and the Pro Wrestling Magic Wrestling Academy under Steve Off and Azrieal, the curly haired light heavyweight is loaded with potential. He has competed in some episodes of Monday Morning Magic, but now has a major opportunity on the main show. Can Mancini take that anger and flush it out towards a Junior Heavyweight Fastpass?
Junior Heavyweight wrestling is such a class unto itself. Now, we get to witness a match for a Fastpass that might actually be the sleeper match of the evening. Will the Hunter be Happy And Majestic with a victory on May 16? Or will the Hunter be the hunted and be upset by the inspired Joe Mancini at St. Anger?
I will definitely be watching.
