The Ace of Spade Academy and John Cena, Sr Link Up for RCW
Max St. Giovanni and Colton Charles have become two can’t miss prospects in the world of independent wrestling.
Developed in WrestlePro and under the learning tree of Max’s older brother Leon, the sheer talent both men possess is undeniable. MSG & Charles, along with their immensely skilled colleague GKM, have taken their skills across the Northeast and impressed fans and promoters alike.
However, they might have impressed someone who helped create one of the greatest performers in professional wrestling history.
I mean, LITERALLY create.
On June 14, 2024 at the Italian American Citizens Club in Peabody, MA for Royal Crown Wrestling, the Ace of Space Academy will team up to face Puerto Rico’s Most Wanted of Don Vega & Alexraided at Heatwave I.
In the corner of MSG & Charles will be none other than JOHN CENA, SR!
Not many people know this, but Mr. Cena has been a prominent manager and advisor to talent in the Massachusetts independent scene for quite some time. If you recognize the name Johnny Fabulous, that was Mr. Cena. He has managed names like Brian Milonas and Alex Arion in the faction Big Business. He was the advisor of Dave Cole and Darren Young at the start of their careers.
Mr. Cena was also apart of one of the greatest moments in Chaotic Wrestling history, as he managed Rick Fuller against Mr. Milonas on May 25, 2007, in a match where then-WWE Champion JOHN CENA was special guest referee and Vince McMahon - YES, THAT VINCE MCMAHON - made an ultra rare independent wrestling appearance. To top it off, he has had in-ring experience. Mr. Cena had a brief contest with Randy Orton on Monday Night Raw in 2007, Eugene in 2011 for Big Time Wrestling, and as recently as December 2023 in New Bedford, MA, defeated wrestling attorney to the stars “Smart” Mark Sterling at a LIVE Pro Wrestling event. He is not afraid to get his hands dirty and fight.
So on 6/14 in Peabody, can the “Cena Space Academy” of MSG & Colton Charles take some of the wisdom and experience given by the incomparable John Cena, Sr and pick up a win for Royal Crown Wrestling? Or will these two men buckle under the pressure at Heat Wave I?
