TAG TEAM GAUNTLET WITH A FASTPASS ON THE LINE AT ST. ANGER 5/16

Pro Wrestling Magic prides itself on having one of the best tag team divisions in the tri-state area today. The dedication and appreciation of one of wrestling’s lost artforms has been preached heavily in the Magic Kingdom.
Now, at St. Anger on May 16, 2026 at the Meadowlands YMCA in East Rutherford, NJ, the turmoil of the Tag Team Gauntlet will happen. The winners will receive a Tag Team Fastpass and a guaranteed opportunity at the Pro Wrestling Magic Tag Team Championships, currently held by El Pacto Diabolico.
The duos in the Tag Team Gauntlet are John Tella & Trey Felipe, the Rep, the Stepdads, and the Sons of Old School.
I have paid attention to what the monstrous Tella & the natural Felipe have been doing on social media. The acrimonious big brother/little brother friendship the pair have is hilarious. However, it was eye-opening to see when Tella made the save for “the Freshlete” back in March when he was getting a beatdown from EPD. Now, with the pair locked into the Tag Team Gauntlet, can they win the Fastpass and fully go for revenge on the most hated, yet dominant, entity in the Magic Kingdom?
The Rep are big and bad bruisers. Dave McCall and Nate Wallace have won championships everywhere they’ve gone, including the PWM Tag Team Titles twice. Now, they are looking to regain their championships, and are looking to “threepeat” as THE top team in Pro Wrestling Magic.
The Stepdads have built up a cult following throughout the internet and through New Jersey. Wade Krueger and Radley Belmont are beloved underdogs. However, their toughness cannot be denied. Belmont, in particular, is the inaugural Matt Pro Wrestling Grand Champion. Can Krueger, who has underrated power, and Belmont shock the system and become the #1 contender to the PWM Tag Team Championships?
The Sons of Old School are at a Crossroads. Dan Murdoch picked up the biggest win of his career, pinning his trainer Jay Lethal at One in April. Meanwhile, Steve Off is in the thick of it in front of the camera and behind the scenes with El Pacto Diabolico. As well, Murdoch and Off have not been able to get a few wins together as a tandem. The Tag Team Gauntlet might be their last chance to possibly set themselves up for a Tag Team Championship opportunity. Can the Sons of Old School ride one more time?
This match has the potential for every single team to finally nullify the power that Mateo Marcelos and EPD have on the Magic Kingdom. Who will succeed? More importantly, who will get the Tag Team Fastpass at St. Anger?
