This Sunday, American Championship Entertainment Mercury Rising at the Teaneck Knights of Columbus in Teaneck, NJ will host, potentially, a scientific clash between the irresistible force and the immovable object over ACE’s most unique championship.
“Nobody Betta” Michael Mistretta will be defending the Diamond Division Title against “Wrestling’s Richest Prize” Darius Carter!
Not much more can be said about Mr. Carter. He is a two-time Super 8 Tournament winner and renowned as the best unsigned talent in wrestling. However, Carter’s ACE career has one small blemish: when he lost his Diamond Division Championship to Dominic Denaro at ACE Redemption back in January 2022.
To many, Carter was the PERFECT man to hold that title, as the beauty of diamonds shone with the immense class that he possessed.
However, he has an unorthodox opponent in his sights to gain back his title. Mistretta has become a true ACE stalwart over the past few years, bringing a smash-mouth style to the Diamond Division not seen since the days of Bruno Marciano. Mistretta has a plethora of ways to beat an opponent.
The victory over Jhonny Santos at Hero’s Celebration back in February legitimized him as an absolute beast in between the ropes and one of ACE’s brightest diamonds.
