Pro Wrestling Magic, now in its new home at the Meadowlands YMCA in East Rutherford, NJ, mere minutes from Metlife Stadium, is full steam ahead heading towards 2026. And as the promotion prepares for its first show of the year For Whom The Bell Tolls on January 17, there are certain scores to be settled.
Ever since El Pacto Diabolico leader Mateo Marcelos became co-owner in the Summer of 2025 and subsequently became Dark Arts Champion, many believe that the evil little demon is the future of the company. The conniving and cutthroat Mateo even turned Ray Ray Marz into a henchman, using him to help beat Steve Off at Kingdom Come X to retain his gold.
The man literally personifies the PWM Dark Arts Championship.
However, he will have to knuckle up and bring his absolute “A Game” on the 17th, as Marcelos is defending his Dark Arts Title against the timeless Crowbar!
We here at HardwayHQ.com have talked about “the Demonic Destruction Device” ad nauseum over the years. Even TheBigBangMay6.com has discussed how Crowbar is the last man standing from those that competed regularly in World Championship Wrestling.
He is a former co-Cruiserweight Champion with the late, great Daffney. He defeated Reno from the Natural Born Thrillers to win the WCW Hardcore Championship. He even has a documented win over Kevin Nash and Scott Steiner, alongside David Flair, for the WCW World Tag Team Titles.
The man has been battle-tested and war ready. WWE, ECW, TNA, ROH, and every independent wrestling company in the Northeast know his greatness. Hell, he even won the ACE Fight For Flight back in 2016 and was the first man to bring that championship to a main event in January 2017.
Mateo has to be worried. Mateo has to be scared. Hell, Mateo has to be trembling. Crowbar will bring the pain. Mateo will need to bring more than manipulation. He will need to bring his heart.
Be there live at the Meadowlands YMCA or on IWTV for streaming. This match will be a show-stealer.
