LYKOS GYM PICKS UP MUCH NEEDED WIN IN NOAH NEO GLOBAL TAG LEAGUE 2026 ON 6/2

I mentioned on X not too long ago that one of my favorite underdog teams in Pro Wrestling NOAH has to be Lykos Gym.

The 29 year old Kid Lykos I and the masked Kid Lykos II, have made a few tours of NOAH over the past couple of years from their native United Kingdom, but they’ve been competing every NOAH card since April.
There haven’t been many wins, including a loss for the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles on April 12 against champions Dragon Bane and Alejandro in Nagoya, but the duo have displayed their fighting spirit and hard work, gaining a small following from NOAH fans.
Lykos Gym have been blessed enough to be placed into the NEO Global Tag League 2026, which began on May 23 and will end on June 16. They are in Block A, and what a loaded block it is.
Alongside them are:
Tetsuya Naito & BUSHI
Kaito Kiyomiya & Harutoki
Tetsuya Endo & HAYATA
Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows
Masa Kitamiya & Takashi Sugiura
The NEO Global Tag League started off tough for Lykos Gym, as on 5/23, they fell victim to the White Raven Squad of Tetsuya Endo & HAYATA in a hard-hitting match. Then, on the 26th, after another valiant battle, fell just short to Tetsuya Naito & BUSHI of Los Tranquilos de Japon.
With their backs against the wall, on June 2, they walked into Shinjuku Face in Tokyo to face off with two of the more popular wrestlers in NOAH, All Rebellion of Harutoki and three time former GHC Heavyweight Champion Kaito Kiyomiya!

Confidence was on their face, and the feeling of wanting to prove their mettle in their souls, Lykos Gym entered the arena in the main event of the evening.
The match was fast paced and hard-hitting. At one point, following a beautiful somersault plancha to the floor by Kid Lykos II, Kid Lykos I, who really has a resemblance of a late 2000s Kenny Omega, shocked everyone by delivering a picture perfect Asai Moonsault off the barricade onto both All Rebellion and his own partner.

The fighting spirit of all four men came into the forefront. At the end of the match, Lykos II delivered a fantastic hurricanrana for a pinfall, but the quick Harutoki reversed it into a pinning predicament. Lykos I spotted the switch and masterfully landed a Meteora on Harutoki. Lykos II countered with a Jackknife cover and shockingly got the three count and the victory!

There was a noticeable shocking pop from the NOAH faithful in attendance. The enthusiasm and belief in Lykos Gym came through from them, and Lykos Gym returned it in kind.
Although Kid Lykos I & II lost to the Good Brothers of Gallows and Anderson today, giving them a third loss, a major victory over All Rebellion, especially the former three time GHC Heavyweight Champion Kiyomiya, is nothing to snuff at.
As a wrestling fan solely watching from New Jersey on Wrestle Universe, there’s such an underdog vibe about the duo from the UK. I personally would love to see a rematch between them and Dragon Bane & Alejandro down the line for the GHC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Titles. But until that day, I will continue to enjoy what this duo is bringing to the table.
Don’t count out Lykos Gym!
