Ever since Journey Burke, ESQ became the inaugural Pro Wrestling Magic Women’s Dark Arts Champion at One on April 11, 2026, the aura around the Magic Kingdom has been a wee bit darker.
Her demeanor has gotten even more diabolical and vicious. She was able to utilize that to defeat JEM back in June. Now, at Enter Sandman, the “Law of Attraction” has a chance to continue demonstrating that against one of the toughest competitors to date.
Journey Burke, ESQ defends the PWM Women’s Dark Arts Title against the double-tough Gia Scott on September 19!
“The Best Damn Woman” came within an eyelash of defeating Tiffani Avatar last month. Developed out of the ROH Dojo, Scott can throw strikes with reckless abandon and throw around fellow wrestlers at will.
The sick combination that Scott threw at “the Cotton Candy Princess” in their match - vicious forearm strike followed up with a massive Rock Bottom - still has the entire Magic Kingdom locker room buzzing about it. It might have been the most impactful pair of moves seen in quite some time.
My sources in the independent wrestling pipeline told me that Burke saw the footage and was in complete awe.
Now, on September 19 at the Meadowlands YMCA, there’s a chance Scott could unleash that combo and win herself the Women’s Dark Arts Championship. However, Burke’s connection to El Pacto Diabolico might be the perfect counter to that happening.
Be there for Enter Sandman. Exit Journey - Enter Scott as Women’s Dark Arts Champion? See it for yourselves.
