Felipe vs Locke: Jr. Heavyweight Title Match in a CAGE

Tomorrow night at “the Mecca” at Ridgefield Park, NJ, Pro Wrestling Magic will be running TURF WAR, live on IWTV, where every single match will be contested inside of a steel cage.

Of course, there is an incredible main event signed, as Team Smiley of Smiley, Eden, VI, and “the Good Guy” Azrieal will be taking on Team Shane of Shane Fair, Steve Off, Vinny Pacifico, and Isaiah Wolf for managerial control of Pro Wrestling Magic within WAR GAMES, but there is one match on the docket that has piqued my interest as it comes to light heavyweight wrestling in PWM.

Back at 9 Years of Magic on April 27, 2024, Trey Felipe won a four-way dance, defeating Azrieal, Brandon Downey, and PWM World Junior Heavyweight Champion Vinny Pacifico to win the championship. Felipe, a standout from Roselle Park, NJ, has become an absolute blue chipper in the New Jersey independent wrestling scene, and the World Junior Heavyweight Championship is the icing on the cake.

Troy Locke, on the other hand, has quickly become quite the suplex machine on the independent scene. Trained by Cheeseburger and Preacher Finneus James from the Worldwide Dojo, Locke’s junior heavyweight “shoot” style, complete with suplexes galore, has garnered him praise, with many considering him a mulleted version of Little Guido Maritato.

Entering a steel cage for the PWM World Junior Heavyweight Championship tomorrow night, Locke and Felipe have a chance to display their unique abilities.

Felipe will have to innovate, using the cage as his ally to outmaneuver his challenger. Locke, on the contrary, can ground-and-pound the champion and, if necessary, force his opponent to stay neutralized in a closed-off environment.

Kids, we call this a clash of styles.

However, I can guarantee this will be exciting and revolutionary. Two men locked in a cage for the Junior Heavyweight Championship tomorrow night is a must-see viewing for me. Go to the Ridgefield Park Knights of Columbus live or watch on IWTV.
