BANKIE'S HOT TAKE #95 - Vicki Prepares To Get Vicious at "Queen of the North V" Against a "Great Equalizer"
The Mecca in Ridgefield Park, NJ will be home to the finals of the Brii Combination Wrestling QUEEN OF THE NORTH V tournament, with Emily Jaye, Harleen Lopez, and Tiffani Avatar preparing to do battle this coming Saturday night.
However, all eyes will be on the BCW Women’s Championship match between champion Vicious Vicki & challenger Angel Metro.
Vicious Vicki has been a mainstay of the tri-state area independent scene for close to a decade. Every year, Vicki has gone from being “vivacious” to becoming an absolute force in the squared circle.
Ever since winning the BCW Women’s Title at Anniversary 6 on March 18, 2023 from Ruthless Lala in a triple threat match, which included Kelsey Raegan, Vicki has been unstoppable. She has successfully defended the gold against Dani Mo, Jade, Kiah Dream, All Natural Ashley, and Ultra Violette. All of these women are top independent wrestling talent. Vicki has steamrolled her way to victory.
Over time, the bad ass from Belleville has perfected her diving reverse DDT into the perfect finishing hold. Vicki seems to be unstoppable as champion.
Angel Metro would tend to disagree.
Metro has truly become an absolute bad ass in her own right, proving her toughness inside the ropes. Each and every time out, Angel brings the fight against any opponent. She can wrestle and brawl. She refuses to stay down. “The Great Equalizer” refuses to surrender.
This match has fist fight written all over it. Both women are equally matched in skill and perseverance. This is what they call a toss-up.
However, the “wild card” of this contest will be Vicki’s agent Marc Chouen. Over the past several months, there has been tension between client and representation. Chouen refuses to let his #1 star slip through his fingers, as, according to my sources on the independent wrestling pipeline, he will do everything in his power to keep the BCW Women’s Championship in his fold.
Will the near thirteen-month reign of Vicious Vicki continue at Queen of the North V? Or will Angel Metro take grasp of another championship in the Metropolitan area to continue building her impressive resume?
