Today
Feels very different
World keeps spinning
People still moving
Businesses stay open
Yet
Today
Feels very awkward
21 years later
Still feels like yesterday
Still a struggle
Still a process
But it never fully goes away
Watch all the footage
Scour the news articles
Trying to find a reason
There just isn’t one
I hope
I plead
I pray
One day
That awful day
Will ultimately fade away
