Pro Wrestling Magic returned last night at the Mecca in Ridgefield Park, NJ to bring everyone “The Hangover”! A lively crowd brought their enthusiasm and passion to the forefront as the Magic Kingdom has begun to evolve as an entity.
Here are the results from last night:
“The Magic Kingdom Ripper” Alex Reiman made his return to PWM after a sabbatical, defeating “Core Kid” Javi (NXT’s Javier Bernal) in a sensational contest.
PWM World Tag Team Champions The Rep defeated Misery Inc of Troy Locke and Vi Daniel after Eden distracted Daniel, leading Wallace and McCall to take advantage, unleashing a vicious Problem Solver to retain.
Due to Mateo Marcelos not being medically cleared, the World Junior Heavyweight Championship was made vacant. “Timid” Tamir Gibbs shocked the Magic Kingdom and defeated Eden and Justin Vayne to win the title. During the match, Vi Daniel got his receipt on Eden, dragging him out of the ring and causing a major brawl.
PWM Dark Arts Champion Isaiah Wolf defeated Donovan, Al Dinero, and Dan Murdoch to retain the title. After the match, Mateo, now a co-owner of PWM thanks to contract fine print from back in June, confronted Murdoch, who was not even scheduled to compete, and announced that he would be facing his trainer and mentor JAY LETHAL at Kingdom Come in December.
PWM World Heavyweight Champion Bruno defeated independent wrestling legend “Brutal” Bob Evans to retain with a triangle choke.
Smiley defeated Funhouse American Lucha Champion Steve Off to win the championship. Throughout the match, the Off Army and El Pacto Diabolico were at odds with one another.
In a Title-for-Title classic, Shine Champion Kelsey Raegan and PWM Women’s Champion Journey Burke, ESQ went to a no-contest.
NOTES:
After Kingdom Come in December, PWM Promoter Steve Off announced that the full-time residency with the Mecca in Ridgefield Park will come to an end. Starting in 2026, the Magic Kingdom will be making their base at the YMCA in East Rutherford, NJ.
Next month at Shane’s World in October, Eden will be squaring off with Vi Daniel in a casket match.
At Kingdom Come in December, Smiley will get a shot at PWM World Heavyweight Champion Bruno El Oso Blanco. Also, Dan Murdoch will take on Jay Lethal in a Student vs Teacher battle that is near 20 years in the making.
