VI DANIEL WITH THE CHANCE OF A LIFETIME THIS SATURDAY AGAINST AZRIEAL IN THE MAGIC KINGDOM

Vi Daniel is one of the most unique performers in this era of Pro Wrestling Magic.

“The Ferocious Beast” out of Kenilworth, NJ stands 5 '5 and weighs 150 pounds, but he fights like his life depends on it each and every time he enters the ring. The two time former Junior Heavyweight Champion truly is the personification of grit and determination.

That same grit and determination might have gotten him into the biggest fight of his life this Saturday at the Meadowlands YMCA in East Rutherford, NJ, minutes from Metlife Stadium.

Vi Daniel will be getting the biggest opportunity of his young career, going one-on-one with “the Good Guy” Azrieal for the Pro Wrestling Magic Heavyweight Championship at One!

To not only get in the ring against Az, but to aspire to be the PWM Heavyweight Champion is gutsy enough. However, Daniel will need to use his mind more than his heart for this battle, something that he is not necessarily known for at this stage in his career.

Ironically enough, at one time, Azrieal was in the same place that Daniel was once in.

In the peak of the mid-2000s in the tri-state independent scene, “the Good Guy” was putting on absolute show-stealers with some of the best talent in the world. His ladder match with Jay Lethal on September 18, 2004 in Jersey All-Pro Wrestling for the JAPW Light Heavyweight Championship is still revered as one of the greatest matches in the history of the Rahway Rec Center.

Mind you, at one time, Azrieal was the recipient of a spike piledriver through two tables by the Carnage Crew in Ring of Honor during the At Our Best main event in March 2004.

Azrieal wrestled with all heart, all the time.

However, as the years went on, and Azrieal gained more experience, including going to Dragon Gate in Japan, CZW, and other top-level independents, the mind began to be used more than the heart. That is why “the Good Guy” is still one of the best wrestlers in independent wrestling.

For Vi Daniel to pull off the mother of all upsets this Saturday night, he is going to need to be strategic. Be intrusive, yet elusive. Forget the risks and really buckle down into a firm game plan.

The independent wrestling icon Low-Ki once said, “It’s not the size of the heart of the fighter, but the size of the fight he will bring.” Vi Daniel has the chance to do that this Saturday.

The Pro Wrestling Magic Heavyweight Championship will be in his grasp if he brings it.
