Every year, American Championship Entertainment holds its Hero’s Celebration event, in honor of the late, great Mike Morgan, Jr, who tragically passed away in 2014. And every year, ACE alumni performs at their absolute best to honor this great young man, whose spirit still lives on in all of us to this very day.
This year will be no different. ACE management has decided to put together a match for the ACE Diamond Division Championship between two absolute stellar in-ring competitors.
ON MARCH 7, 2026 AT THE TEANECK KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS IN TEANECK, NJ, ACE DIAMOND DIVISION CHAMPION JOEY ACE DEFENDS HIS TITLE AGAINST ROB VEGAS!
Rob Vegas’ long list of achievements in ACE are second-to-none. Former ACE Heavyweight, multiple time Diamond Division and Tag Team Champion, and 2017 Mike Morgan Memorial Cup Winner are just some of the accomplishments he has achieved.
Despite being an elder statesman of the New Jersey independent wrestling scene, Vegas can still move around the ring like no one’s business. With additional OPPS training over the last few months, Vegas is still on top of his game.
Don’t forget - Vegas is still wrestling’s Chessmaster and can lock on his CHECKMATE cloverleaf out of nowhere.
On the flip side, Joey Ace is truly one of the tri-state area’s finest competitors. He won the ACE Diamond Division title back on August 8, 2025 from long reigning champion Michael Mistretta in a triple threat match that included Roger Mendez.
“The Five Star Stud” can fly, ground-and-pound, or grapple with the rest of them. If there is anyone who can outwrestle Rob Vegas in this day-and-age, the Diamond Division Champion can.
