TOUGH GUY INC VS L'EQUIPE: T.H.E. North American Challenge Series on 8/9/25

T.H.E. Pro Wrestling is generating a lot of buzz over the past couple months for their debut event on August 9. 2025. With all eyes on the Carlisle Expo Center in Carlisle, PA, Time Honored Excellence management has decided on developing a phenomenal concept with international complications.

THE NORTH AMERICAN CHALLENGE SERIES WILL TAKE PLACE WITH THE USA TAKING ON CANADA!

The first match of the North American Challenge Series will have two fantastic independent tag teams squaring off, as Tough Guy Inc of Brutal Bob Evans and Tough Tim Hughes, representing the United States, take on L’Equipe, representing the Canadian Province of Quebec!

There is no love lost between these two teams. On May 7, 2022, at Arena Marcel-Claveau in St-Ambroise, Quebec, Canada, Emilio and L’Artiste defeated Tough Guy Inc in a three-way ladder match (Picture Perfect were the other tandem) to win the JCW Tag Team Championships. This would be the first of three reigns that L’Equipe would have.

Evans and Hughes have never forgotten that loss. It has always been a point of contention that Tough Guy Inc were not pinned or submitted to lose those belts.

Also, we cannot forget that Emilio & L’Artiste are the masters of TWIN MAGIC and will do whatever it takes to pick up a victory inside of tag team competition.

Now, with the important North American Challenge Series on the horizon, could Tough Tim and Brutal Bob silence the doubters and put America up early? Or will L’Equipe prove their mettle and get Canada up 1-0 early on August 9?

One thing is for sure: the Time Honored Excellence will be upheld in this battle of two great tag teams.
