Last night, one of the biggest matches in Pro Wrestling Magic history was announced.
PWM Heavyweight Champion “the Good Guy” Azrieal will be going one-on-one with PWM Dark Arts Champion Mateo Marcelos in a Winner Takes All “Astral Plans” match at St. Anger on May 16, 2026 at the Meadowlands YMCA in East Rutherford, NJ.
El Pacto Diabolico has literally RUN THE GAMUT in the Magic Kingdom over the past year. Right now, championships are power. They possess the Junior Heavyweight Championship (Eden), the Tag Team Championship (Justin Vayne and Ray Ray Marz), the Women’s Championship (Tiphani Grady), the Women’s Dark Arts Championship (Journey Burke, ESQ), and Marcelos’ Dark Arts Championship.
Basically, Magic’s most dangerous faction ever own ALL the championships…except one.
Azrieal has been a fighting champion ever since winning the gold at Kingdom Come X on December 20, 2025. Smiley, “the ReVolVer” Alex Reiman, Darius Carter, and Vi Daniel have fallen victim to the wily veteran’s grit and tenacity.
However, this might be the toughest battle “the Good Guy” has ever faced as champion.
If Mateo wins this contest, you might as well rename the Magic Kingdom “the Mateo Kingdom”. As co-owner of PWM and the leader of El Pacto Diabolico, adding the PWM Heavyweight Championship would make him legitimately unstoppable.
For the sake of Pro Wrestling Magic, it all falls on the shoulders of New Jersey’s greatest independent wrestler. It falls on “the Good Guy”.
