Radley Belmont has had himself quite a successful 2025 in independent wrestling.
Besides holding the GTS Legendary YouTube Championship for a record-breaking reign 121 days (as of this writing), "the Rad Dad" has a golden opportunity of being the only man in the semi-finals of both the Matt Pro Wrestling Grand and Tag Team Tournaments.
Belmont stole the show at "Harvest Moon" on October 5, 2024, when Belmont nearly pulled off the mother of all upsets in the Gold Rush Gauntlet, surviving a multitude of injuries and becoming the master of the shock pinfall.
Then, at "Groundhog Day Gold Rush" on February 2, 2025 at the Lakewood Estonian House in Lakewood, NJ, Belmont found himself in a tough situation, being a part of both tournament brackets and wrestling in two separate matches.
First, alongside his fellow "Stepdad" Wade Krueger, Belmont advanced in the Tag Title Tournament, defeating Mateo Marcelos & "Sturdy" Sal Mistretta. Then, in a fatal-four-way against three tough talents, Belmont, overcoming exhaustion and pain, defeated Jack Maertens, Captain Mike Goldstein, and Vincent Michaels to advance in the Grand Title Tournament.
Now, this coming Saturday in Lakewood at "Rain Dance", Belmont's sheer toughness has to overcome even insurmountable odds; first, "the Rad Dad" will be wrestling suplex-demon Troy Locke in the semi-finals of the Grand Title Tournament. Following that, Belmont and Krueger will be in a triple-threat tag team war in the Tag Team Title semi-finals against the Frat party of Frat Boy Farva & Brian Bomber AND M-Squared Live of Ray Ray Marz & Mikey Midnight!
Radley Belmont is seemingly becoming the Iron Man of Matt Pro Wrestling. Can he achieve success and reach the finals of both tournaments? Or will "the Rad Dad" leave empty handed? Come check out Matt Pro Wrestling this Saturday at the Lakewood Estonian House with a 3 PM Belltime.
