On Saturday night, May 24, 2025 at the Teaneck Knights of Columbus in Teaneck, NJ, ACE Aftermath will host a match between two incredibly talented performers.

ACE Grand Slam Winner “the Brooklyn Outlaw” Donovan will be going one-on-one with young upstart Roger Mendez.

If you’ve paid attention to the Northeast independent scene over the past decade, Donovan has truly become a pillar. Although successful everywhere he’s been, his biggest triumphs have been in American Championship Entertainment. He’s held Tag Team Championships with Rob Vegas and Ricky Richards, the Diamond Division Championship in 2008, the Fight For Flight Title in 2016, and the ACE Heavyweight Championship in 2018. Donovan, in many words, personifies ACE.

On the flip side, Roger Mendez is on the rise in the Northeast. Incredibly successful for Warriors of Wrestling, Mendez made his way to ACE back at Hero’s Celebration on March 29, 2025 and, in many opinions, pulled off an upset against “the 5 Star Stud” Joey Ace. Many have said that Mendez possesses the tools to be a superstar.

Many have said to me that this match will be a “locker room sellout”. So many fans and wrestlers are excited for this contest. In fact, many want to see how Mendez will handle the southpaw style of Donovan, including that vicious South Side Knockout Knee. Can Mendez survive?

At Aftermath, we will see. The fallout and aftermath of this one will reverberate for months to come.
