Joey Janela is already having a wild April.
After “the Bad Boy” promotes his annual Joey Janela Spring Break event on Friday April 17 in Las Vegas at the Horseshoe and wrestles against the prodigy Brodie Lee, Jr, he has ten days to prepare for a battle at the Sunny Days Arena in North Versailles Township, PA, right outside Pittsburgh, on Tuesday, April 28 for Only Wrestlers Association.
Janela will be getting a shot at the Juggalo Championship Wrestling American Championship when he faces the enigmatic and immensely talented Facade!
Facade, one of the most unique talents across the entire independent wrestling scope, won the JCW American Title back on January 17, 2026 in Denver, CO from Ninja Mack, and has been a fighting champion ever since. He even defeated the legendary Nic Nemeth back in February in a successful title defense.
Both Janela and Facade have one common attribute related to their in-ring style: they just don’t know how to quit. They keep going and refuse to back down. Janela, in particular, has been known to take an inhumane amount of punishment all throughout his career.
This title match also has major implications. If “the Bad Boy” finds a way to win the JCW American Championship on the 28th, that would mean Janela would possibly find his way onto JCW Lunacy. What a wild world we would live in then.
