After fifteen years of friendship, different journeys, and a reunion, Dan Murdoch and Steve Off finally achieved a dream, becoming the Pro Wrestling Magic Tag Team Champions at All Nightmare Long on August 15, 2026, defeating El Pacto Diabolico’s Ray Ray Marz and Justin Vayne.
It was an odyssey to get there. Murdoch and Off began as enemies in the Bodyslam Wrestling Organization, doing battle in all different types of matches. Then, both men made peace and began traveling up and down the circuit together. Whether it be EGW in Pennsylvania, NWA Mountain State in West Virginia, or anywhere in between, the pair became inseparable.
Following Murdoch’s retirement in January 2014, Steve went on his own, forming a championship tandem with Alex Reiman in the American Murder Society. However, once Reiman betrayed Off and morphed into the “ReVolVer”, Steve was left on an island of his own.
Murdoch returned to wrestling in January 2025 as an entrant in the Chad Adams Memorial Rumble. Then, a few months later, at Revenge of the Nerds on March 15, 2025, Steve and the Hunter defeated Murdoch and Ray Ray Marz in a BWO Reunion match. Following the match, Off and Murdoch decided to reform their team. The Sons of Old School were reborn.
The arduous road, complete with injuries, sneak attacks, and power struggles with EPD, ultimately lead to an All American Knockout and the Pro Wrestling Magic Tag Team Titles over Vayne and Marz, the Benedict Arnold of the Magic Kingdom.
However, during their victory speech with the great Katrina Storm, Murdoch and Off made their intentions clear. The war with El Pacto Diabolico was not over. In fact, they made a challenge to the former champions.
At Enter Sandman on September 19, 2026 at the Meadowlands YMCA in East Rutherford, NJ, the Sons of Old School will defend the Pro Wrestling Magic Tag Team Titles against Ray Ray Marz and Justin Vayne in a Doors, Ladders, and Chairs Match. GOOD GRIEF!
It is highly unorthodox for the champions to issue a challenge to the former titleholders. But the war between the four has raged on for quite some time. It has to end.
The Sons of Old School and EPD will prepare to unlock punishment and download pain to one another. Enter Sandman will be a night to remember, all in the name of DLC.
