BRIAN MYERS VS TJ CRAWFORD: WILY VETERAN VS RISING STAR AT WRESTLEPRO X

The moniker of WrestlePro X on April 4, 2026 is Celebrating 10 Years of WrestlePro. And there are two men, on two different lines of the fence, that are going to do battle.

Brian Myers will be going one-on-one with TJ Crawford at the Rahway Rec Center in Rahway, NJ!

More importantly, it’s a battle between a wily veteran and an independent wrestling rising star!

Brian Myers’ career has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride. Through ebbs and flows, he really has become a tag team legend. One of the rare to have multiple reigns of both WWE & TNA World Tag Team Championships, as well as holding the rarest of the rare - the WWE Pre-NXT Triple Crown: the OVW, Deep South, and FCW Tag Team Titles.

Myers really has carved his niche out into the world of professional wrestling. Add in his Create A Pro Academy in New York and his incredibly successful Major Wrestling Figure podcast, you can honestly say he is a building block to going your own way in professional wrestling. You can say he has a working “System”.

He has been involved with WrestlePro since the early beginnings, and has even held the promotion’s Tag Team Titles with Joey Janela in 2020. It’s the first time in over a year that Myers has stepped foot in a WrestlePro ring.

TJ Crawford’s rise has been incredibly impressive. Developed out of the Create A Pro Academy in New Jersey, he had limited dealings with Myers, but came through the school regardless as a driven man. Recently, Crawford has had the onus put on him in the independents, and has come through, shining like a rose with his busy schedule across the top promotions. He made it all the finals of the Super 8 Tournament, falling in a great match to Ichiban. Even in the loss, Crawford shined, making fans out of non-believers.

Crawford has also been involved with WrestlePro since the early beginnings, holding the defunct Trios Championships in 2017 along with his fellow Beach Bums. He has even held a couple Create A Pro Titles - The Medal Mayhem & TV Titles, respectively. This is his first WrestlePro match in 2026, last competing in a fun contest with Lee Johnson of AEW on November 23, 2025.

I truly look at this match as a battle of wills. Can the cult figure Myers pull out a victory at WrestlePro X? Or will Crawford get a big win against a current TNA Superstar and a building block on April 4, 2026?

Check it out. You won’t regret it.
