With the Pro Wrestling Magic and Spark Joshi Puroresu collab event Nothing Else Matters heading towards July 12, 2026 at the Mecca in Ridgefield Park, NJ at a rapid pace, the card announcements have been heating up.

A few days ago, Spark Joshi announced a massive title match with star power and massive implications.

“The Main Character” Anya Rune will be defending her Spark Joshi Pacific Championship against "The Conduit Of Karma" Kaia McKenna!

The one time Airica Demia, Anya Rune has truly become a “can’t miss” prospect in professional wrestling. “The Main Character” is a part of the WWE ID program and currently performing on EVOLVE on Tubi. The anime-influenced professional wrestler has also become a major player on the independent scene.

On June 29, 2025 in Baytown, TX at SPARK Ignite Texas, Rune defeated Vert Vixen and Miyu Yamashita to win the Spark Joshi Pacific Championship. She then followed up with two title defenses on SHINE 83 and 84 on WWNLive’s internet streaming platform.

Her opponent is Kaia McKenna, a prospect on the rise. A very spiritual performer, “the Conduit of Karma” has the pedigree for success. Trained at the Black and Brave Academy under Marek Brave and WWE legend Seth Rollins, McKenna has traveled across the United States and wrestled for a plethora of top level independents, including GCW, Beyond Wrestling, and the Premier Wrestling Federation.

Now, these two unique competitors head towards the Mecca in Ridgefield Park to compete over the Spark Joshi Pacific Title. With over a year reign as champion, will Anya Rune continue on with a retention? Or will Kaia McKenna cast a spell over the ring and walk out with a new title in tow?

Be there on 7/12, as Nothing Else Matters.
