Mike Richter Joins Inside Heat Sports & Collectibles 5/18/25 at the Hamburg Sports & Hobby Expo

A hockey goaltending legend will be appearing at the Hamburg Sports Card & Hobby Expo in Hamburg, NJ on Sunday May 18, 2025.
MIKE RICHTER, 1994 Stanley Cup Champion and New York Ranger great, will be signing from 11AM to 1 PM, in conjunction with Inside Heat Sports & Collectibles and Woodbridge Brewing Co.
In 666 games, all as a member of the Blueshirts, Richter went 301-258-73 in 14 seasons, including making 3 NHL All-Star teams, winning the 1994 All-Star Game MVP, and the Frank Boucher Award 4 times for “Most Popular Player On and Off the Ice”. He also won the gold medal in the 1996 World Cup of Hockey and the Silver Medal in the 2002 Winter Olympics, representing the United States.
However, it was the 1993-1994 Stanley Cup Playoffs that he is best known for. Playing all 23 games in net, Richter went 16-7 and became the brick wall that the Rangers desperately needed.
In Game 4 on June 7, 1994 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, he pulled off his most famous save, stopping Pavel Bure on a penalty shot.
Seven days later, Richter was on the ice, celebrating the first Rangers Stanley Cup since 1940, leading the Rangers to a 3-2 win in Game 7, providing the franchise and the fans with one “that will last a lifetime.”
In 2008, Richter was inducted to the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame and, after retiring in 2003, graduated with a degree from Yale.
One of hockey’s greatest ambassadors, Mike Richter will be a can’t miss at the Hamburg Sports Card & Hobby Expo on 5/18 at the Hamburg Fireman's Pavilion, located at 208 Rt 23 in South Hamburg, NJ. The event as a whole will be open from 9AM-3PM.
